What the app collects
Account details. You sign in with your work email address. We use it to identify you and show you your jobs.
Work records you create. Job forms, checks, comments, photos and signatures you capture in the app are sent to MAC Surfacing's job management system. They form part of our site and compliance records.
Location. If you allow it, the app attaches site location to the records you capture, so evidence is tied to the right place. Location is only read while you use the app, never in the background.
Device notifications. If you allow notifications, the app registers a token with our system so the office can send you job alerts.
What the app does not do
The app contains no advertising, no analytics trackers and no third-party data sharing for marketing. We do not sell data. Nothing you capture is made public.
Offline storage
Records you capture without signal are stored on your device and uploaded automatically when you reconnect. Your sign-in token is stored in your device's secure storage.
Retention and your rights
Work records are retained as part of MAC Surfacing's business and compliance records. For access, correction or deletion requests, contact us via macsurfacing.com/contact-us. If you are a MAC employee, our internal data protection procedures also apply.
