The gang is directly employed and trained in-house, not agency cover we have never met. Operatives carry the cards the work demands, including CSCS, MPQC, NPORS and NVQ Level 2, with supervisors qualified up to NVQ Level 6, SMSTS and SSSTS.
Because we own the crews and the plant, we control the diary. When we commit to a slot we mean it, with one point of accountability throughout.

What is included in surfacing gang hire?+
The full gang and kit: up to a complete 8 person surfacing machine team and plant. That covers the paver with our own trained driver and screwman, the roller or Streetmaster the programme requires, delivery on MAC transport and in-house workshop back-up. One MAC team is responsible for the people, plant and programme.
Who supervises the gang and who supplies materials?+
The gang arrives with its own supervision, qualified up to NVQ Level 6, SMSTS and SSSTS, so you get one point of accountability throughout. You set the job brief, access, material requirements and programme dates. The MAC team plans the people and plant around them.
Is there a minimum hire or notice period?+
The exact team, plant and dates are agreed around your programme rather than set by a fixed minimum. We will give you an honest position on availability rather than promise a date we cannot hold. If we are tight, we will tell you early so you can plan around it.
What areas do you cover?+
Our core patch is the West Midlands, roughly 60 miles, where we respond quickest, with national delivery for larger, longer programmes. We will be straight with you up front about what we can sensibly resource rather than overstretch a crew.
Are the crews qualified?+
Yes. We supply our own trained crews, not agency cover we have never met. Operatives carry the cards the work demands, including CSCS, MPQC, NPORS and NVQ Level 2, with supervisors qualified up to NVQ Level 6, SMSTS and SSSTS. Training is ongoing in-house.

We hold ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, along with CPA, CHAS, Avetta and Constructionline Gold, and we are an Armed Forces Covenant Gold employer. The crews we supply work to full SHEQ compliance.
