Road Surfacing Company, MAC Surfacing, Lays Down Charity Gauntlet…

2015 saw over £6000 raised and donated to charity by Midlands based MAC Surfacing, the vast majority of which came from company director Marc Copson's participation in a charity boxing event in aid of Cancer Research.

This year MAC Surfacing has decided to step things up a gear and surpass 2015's total by inviting people to use social media to nominate a charitable event for the company to enter.

MAC Surfacing will take to Twitter and Facebook throughout April to ask people to make their nominations with a view to creating a shortlist of charitable events.

"This approach lets us see what truly matters to the people connected to MAC Surfacing and we should be able to generate even more impact by involving our suppliers, customers, staff and the local community, in the early stages of choosing a charity" - Marc Copson
