Extending into London

MAC Surfacing are extending their coverage into London and are gradually getting a more established presence in the prestigious area.

With an office currently based in Guildford, the business motive is to serve a wider geographical area and they're looking to grow their market area in other parts of the country over the next 6 months.

MAC Surfacing Director, Marc Copson said:

"We have had an informal presence in London for a number of years and have a number of repeat customers, we have decided to take the area more seriously so we can strive to offer the first class service that we do in the midlands and surrounding areas.

We have been planning the move since January and have had a presence since early 2016 however, we are now in a position to increase our presence in this area"

MAC Surfacing are also looking to increase their workforce size to facilitate having a full-time gang of 8 people in this area by end of first quarter 2017. The blueprint is already in place for a further increase in staff beyond Q1 2017.

Mark Hibbert, Business Manager will be heading up the coverage in this area and responsibility for MAC's London operations will be passed on to a full-time manager at a later date.

Marc Copson also commented:

"We are very excited about the London Depot as it's a key step in our ambition and overall strategy for growth. This will enhance our nationwide coverage by having increased staff and resources in areas that we have previously had difficulty in servicing quickly. London is the first stage of a process we are ultimately looking to roll out across the country, by end of 2017 - we hope to have coverage in 5 areas of the UK"
