MAC Sponsor Local Talent

We are proud to support and sponsor the Goalkeeper Development Scheme. Being local, we are keen to develop local talent and help support the growth of a local scheme so that young people have the opportunity to play.

Goalkeeper Development Scheme has been run by Dave Woodhall and his team of trusted coaches for over 20 years; set up to develop young goalkeepers and coaches in the West Midlands. Goalkeeper Development recently visited Malta to run a week long development programme for the young Maltese keepers and free coach education courses for Maltese coaches in St Julians, taking 21 of their own team of young players and coaches along.

David Woodhall, chief coach, said: "We are extremely grateful to MAC Surfacing for coming on board as a sponsor. It's a real boost to be backed by one of the best road surfacing contractors in the country."

At MAC we believe in supporting the local community we operate in by providing a well-run, reliable service and giving something back, wherever possible, through steps such as sponsoring local sporting talent. Our donation saw the team kitted out with tracksuits and tops to train in. We wish Goalkeeper Development all the very best and we look forward to supporting them in the near future.
