Not content to rest on our laurels when it comes to investing in new machinery, we are due to take delivery shortly of a further two new JCB 3CX Streetmasters to assist with our aim of reducing the risk of HAVS (Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome) across our business units.
Our new logo has been emblazoned on two new Volvo wheeled P6870C pavers to add to our hire fleet earlier this year as well the addition of three new 1.5 metre planers. This brings our total planer fleet to nine offering a selection of 1 metre, 500mm and 350mm planers. As the planing division continues to grow, we have invested in a brand new Johnston Sweeper on a Scania unit, this comes with drawbar trailer meaning lower transportation costs for you.
We have also invested in a new fleet of Mercedes crew buses, pick-ups and Citans. Furthermore, we have purchased several new Scania lorries and trailers to provide increased capacity for carrying our own range of plant as well as being able to expand our ability to transport clients plant and equipment throughout the UK.
