The company was incorporated in 2004, with a mini-paver and beavertail the starting point for what was to come.
1: Total Staff in 2004
Starting out, Mark Copson was a lone sole trader. With the mini paver and the beavertail, MAC was born.
120: Total Staff in 2018
14 years later, MAC Surfacing now employs 120 people across the nation. 2011 saw the purchase of their Oldbury depot which was key to expansion, and in 2014, head office in Tipton was also expanded to accommodate the much larger team.
6: Board Members
MAC is led by 6 Directors: 2017 saw Mark Hibbert appointed as the current MD and Mark Copson, originally the company founder taken up the role as Chairman, Diane Copson the Company Secretary has been a Director since late 2004, Jake Wherton was bought to the team in 2007 and made director in 2013, Marc Copson joined the board in 2009 and Paul Gutteridge likewise in 2016.

Whether you're looking to hire planing equipment or use it on a contractual basis, MAC are confident you'll be impressed with their machinery.
MAC can supply planers with milling widths of 350mm, 500mm, 1000mm, 1500mm and 2000mm with maximum depths of 110mm, 160mm, 310mm, 320mm and 330mm respectively (please note that the milling depths quoted may not be the actual depth achieved).

MAC operates more than twenty pavers for hire, these include mini paver hire (1.1m - 2m), midi paver hire (1.8m - 3.4m) and standard paver hire (2.6m - 5m). MAC pavers are top of the range and come from manufacturers such as Vogele, Dynapac and Volvo so you can rest assured they'll meet your requirements. What's more, with our varied selection of pavers we can provide machinery that's ideal for whatever task you're using it for - paving a small confined space, or a large expanse of motorway.
