The AP300 class of compact paving sits with our Vogele S1303-3i midi, alongside the SUPER 800-3i mini for tighter work and the SUPER 1803-3i where the job opens out. Whatever the badge on the search, the width, tonnage and access decide the machine.
Caterpillar also absorbed the old Bitelli paver line, so if it is a Bitelli you remember, we have written that up honestly too.

Cat paver hire: common questions
Do you hire out Cat pavers?+
No. We run Vogele pavers rather than Caterpillar's AP-series, and we would rather say so than swap the badge at the gate. The same class of work is covered by our mini, midi and standard machines.
What covers the Cat AP300 class in your fleet?+
The Vogele S1303-3i midi is the closest fit, with the SUPER 800-3i mini below it and the SUPER 1803-3i above. Tell us the width, thickness and tonnage and we will confirm the right machine.
What happened to Bitelli?+
Caterpillar absorbed Bitelli in 2000 and the brand disappeared. Crews still search for it, so we keep an honest page on what covers that work in today's fleet.
Can I hire self-drive or operated?+
Both. Hire the machine self-drive with your competent crew, operated with our own trained driver and screwman, or as a complete paving package with coordinated supporting plant.
