One of road surfacing's best kept secrets is the ability and capability of MAC PLANE - MAC surfacing's planing division.
Operational since 2010, MAC Plane is now approaching a decade on the job.
MAC Surfacing are members of the Safeplane Federation of Planing Contractors - an independent organisation that represents the interests of all road-planing contractors. This means their Health & Safety standards are independently audited on a regular basis to ensure they comply with the requirements laid down by the FPC.
The company currently has a fleet of 15 planers, from 0.35m right through 0.5m, 1m, 1.5m up to 2m planers.
Planers can be supplied with milling widths 350mm, 500mm, 1000mm, 1500mm and 2000mm with maximum depths of 110mm, 160mm, 310mm and 320mm.
Marc Copson, MAC Managing Director spoke to us about MAC Plane:
