Car Park Resurfacing Scheme

We worked both outside and during store hours to get this job over the line. During store hours we had constraints on the areas we could work in and pedestrian safety was of paramount importance. We worked with our client during site meetings and video calls to ensure we were in agreement on phasing plans and safe working areas. The out-of-hours work had to be done in a small working window due to the store opening times and nearby residents. This meant our plan had to be efficient and all parties involved fully aware of how we were going to execute it.

The main difficulties with this site was the restricted working areas and narrow working windows. Fortunately, we have a varied fleet of plant, so we could utilise the right plant in the right areas whilst maintaining safe working zones.

Early contractor involvement and supply chain collaboration definitely helped deliver this job.
