Paver Hire Division : Longevity is no coincidence

We all love to be able to call upon a specialist, and MAC Surfacing has a complete range of pavers for any job, small or large. With 18 years of experience in the industry, MAC is a company you can trust for all your paving needs.
The company offers a complete range of pavers for hire, perfect for any job size or type. MAC prides itself on its customer service and high-quality equipment, machinery and workmanship, and all of its employees are highly skilled.
MAC’s paver division is headed up by Paula Hopkins. With 8 years at MAC under her belt, Paula knows the MAC paving operation inside out and oversees every paver hire enquiry MAC receives. Renowned internally for always going above and beyond, Paula sets the tone for the quality and service MAC customers can expect from MAC paver hire.
The paver hire division is actually MAC Surfacing’s oldest and longest running specialism, with paving and paver hire spanning the entirety of the company’s history. In 2022 the company, and Paula, are just as passionate about providing high quality equipment and machinery to do the highest standard of job possible as the business was at inception and looking to make a name for itself.
The MAC Paver division consists of an impressive 25 Pavers combined with supplementary rollers spanning 100 to 161 as well as JCB Streetmasters. Pavers are manufactured by recognised manufacturers such as Vogele – part of the Wirtgen Group, Dynapac and Volvo – all renowned for the highest quality.
MAC run Mini (1.1m – 2m), Midi (1.8m – 3.4m) and Standard Class (2.6m – 5m) pavers:

MAC’s paver hire division integrates extremely tightly and efficiently with its transport and labour hire divisions, with the capability to also provide the workforces need for paving works, as well as the plant haulage expertise to deliver the vehicles to the job. That’s anywhere across the UK.
Over the course of 18 years, the paving operation has seen involvement in the run up to the 2012 Olympics, works in Silverstone, the Mersey Gateway, Midland Metro works which are ongoing, and MAC has even been required at various MOD bases around the world.

We spoke to Paula Hopkins about her role and what she enjoys about the job. Paula told us:
“From enquiry to invoicing, I’m the person our customer will deal with so it’s very important I enjoy what I do for a start!” she said. “There’s a very personal, family feel to dealing with our client base and it’s my job to make sure that each client feels that way about us.
“Our team here is fantastic and I take a great deal of satisfaction in my work. To see an empty yard absent of pavers because they’re all on hire means we’re doing a good job and gives me satisfaction. It also allows me to do what I do best – wind up my colleagues and have plenty of laughs!”
